Bikram's Last Speech
Bikram's last lecture to us.......you have an obligation to yourselves, to maintain health, you have a gold mine right now in this moment-Keep the process going. You can make your lives anyway you want. No underestimating your-selves. You have found self-realization, hold it in front of your students, show them with a cosmic mirror what you have to offer. Inside-out, every aspect of life, health, happiness, and joy...Try to maintain it the best you can. We are the richest group of people in the world right now, in this moment, in the last 60 days. Enjoy yourselves, make the world better, but be an example, never underestimate what you can do. Let them know what you have that they don't. Heal their lives by healing their spines, Give them life. Remember, no one can steal your peace, self control, and control of mind. Mind is everything, How you use your mind to make your life anyway you want it. Remember the characteristics of mind...'you have everything- if you know how to use it'. Life is more beautiful now. Your job is to make and keep that life as beautiful as possible. Thank you Bikram for all of the wisdom. I am loving the new direction of my life. Namaste.

Hey, Jodi -
Just finished reading all of your entries ... very inspirational & entertaining!! It is obvious you have found your path & your 'karmic calling' - as Bikram would say. I feel fortunate to be one of your first students. You are a natural & as I've told you before: I 'appreciate' the way you teach in the truest meaning of the word.
I jotted down a few questions as I read your blog:
1. Why can you not wear the color green during teacher training?
2. I'd like you to show me what 'Jim from San Diego' meant about your shoulder during bow pose.
3. And what you mean by using your quads to kick leg back in bow pose ...
At some point down the road of your journey I see you inspiring others with your story in a book - you use the written word very well. Again, a natural.
Congratulations on persevering with success being the outcome.
CHEERS!

**ps: I especially liked the 'Richard Simmons met Elvis'
reference, it gave me the perfect visual! LOL
